My name is Elijah Olalekon Alaka and I am a photographer based in Bend, Oregon.
My work is dedicated to exploring and developing the relationship between people of color and the outdoors through storytelling, community building, and imagery.
As a Bi-racial American that grew up in a country that still takes reluctant and groggy steps toward welcoming a multicultural experience, I have found comfort operating in intersections.
I hope to convey the belonging, freedom, absurdity, discrimination, inequity, and beauty, of my relationship with both photography and the outdoors.
